Agricultural product package transport and traceability system

Appropriate packaging should be adopted to avoid damage and contamination of agricultural products during storage. Packaging materials should meet the corresponding hygiene standards. It is forbidden to use fertilizer bags or pesticide bags to transport food.

In accordance with the relevant provisions and standards should be packaged or additional marks, must be packaged or additional signs can be sold. The contents of the product name, origin, producer, date of production, shelf life, product quality grade, and main components shall be indicated on the packaging or label in accordance with the regulations. This is also an important part of the product traceability system.

If the quality of agricultural products meets the requirements of the relevant national standards, producers can apply for the use of the corresponding agricultural product quality marks. The use of quality signs for agricultural products is prohibited.

In the process of transportation, the vehicle should be kept clean and hygienic, and the integrity of the package should be maintained. It should not be mixed with other toxic and hazardous substances. Transport vehicles should have good performance in seismic and ventilation.

The necessity of the food traceability system lies in the fact that the place of origin, production method, name of the producer, address, etc. can be provided for the consumer, and also the entire process from production to sales of the product. For crop products, the traceability system mainly includes two aspects: the recording of the production process and the marking of the packaging.

Records of the production process include the use of seeds, pesticides, fertilizers, irrigation water, dosage, use, and date of decommissioning, as well as the date the product was harvested;

Where the packaging marks are to be packaged or marked in accordance with the relevant provisions and standards, the product name, place of production, manufacturer, date of production, shelf life, product quality grade, and main components shall be marked on the package or mark.
