How to choose the materials for printing in the box

[China Packaging Network News] often said that the definition of the box: refers to the use of cardboard and micro-corrugated board caused by the two folding carton and micro corrugated boxes.

Box printing generally takes the following forms: (1) Color box: There are corrugated boxes and no corrugated box; (2) Ordinary brown corrugated boxes: commonly used are 3-layer corrugated boxes and 5-layer corrugated boxes. After the products are packed, Sealed with tape; (3) White box: White box with corrugated (3 or 5 layers), no corrugated white box, sealed with tape after packaging; (4) Display box: mainly with color display box with PVC cover Display boxes, etc.; (5) Gift boxes: generally used for packaging of jewelry, stationery and other products.

Common packaging materials are the following: (1), white paper: plain white paper, copy paper, crepe paper; (2), bubble paper/bolifel/sponge/EPE; (3), carton type: white box, brown box, Box.

Although the most important thing is to protect the products inside the product packaging box, the beauty of the packaging box is also a must for manufacturers. But also need to consider the cost of packaging materials and economic and other factors. Therefore, we now need to pay attention to several items in the selection of raw materials for the box:

(1) Equality: The quality of a product itself must be consistent with that of the outer package. For example, if you use a price of a few bucks, it is obviously not appropriate to take a very luxurious package. Conversely, if a few thousand pieces of high-end jewelry are packed in a carton, it is also not appropriate. Therefore, the selection of packaging materials must also be classified into high-end, mid-range, and low-grade according to the level of packaged goods. As some high-end electronic products, because of its high price and easy to damage, so in order to ensure the safety of products, in the choice of the need to use more excellent packaging materials. Jewelry, imported goods, and cosmetics are generally used to satisfy consumers' vanity, so high-end packaging materials are also used. The mid-range packaging products, most of them consider the economic applicability, packaging materials and the product itself. For some of the low-end products, often the largest amount of sales, mainly belong to affordable type, such as batteries, toothpaste toothbrushes and so on.

(2) Adaptability: When transporting products, we also need to consider that the packaging materials can adapt to the transportation conditions, and especially some food products should pay special attention to weather and climate, the long-distance of the road and the mode of transportation. There are obvious temperature differences in the climate and environment in different regions, which also requires manufacturers to be cautious when choosing packaging materials. In addition, the requirements for packaging materials, such as aircraft, trains, ships, and automobiles, are also different, so manufacturers must understand what kind of packaging materials they need to choose.

(3) Aesthetics: Because with the development of society, the aesthetic eyes of consumers are now getting higher and higher, so the requirements for the appearance of printing and packaging products have also increased. In fact, if we want to determine whether a product is packaged in the United States, it is not necessary. Find an art expert to identify, but look at its sales will know. Therefore, the aesthetics of packaging does not refer to artistic design. It depends on whether or not the product packaging you design has an appetite for consumers. Only by understanding the eyes and minds of consumers can you make a packaging box that will satisfy consumers, and thus improve The amount of product sold.
