2.3 Expansion of Resource Elements

In the content package list, the resource element is a description of the O10 object used in the content structure, including an O10 object identifier (Identifier) ​​attribute and an O10 object entry pointer (href) attribute. Since O10 is a teaching object encapsulated with a variety of teaching methods, in order to achieve the correct aggregation of O10 objects in the content structure, information of teaching methods in the O10 object interface must be provided in the resource element, and at the same time, O10 object message mapping is given. Information. To do this, add a Method sub-element to the SCORM specification's resource element. This element is used in three of the resource elements:

1 provides the number of teaching methods in the O10 object interface, as well as the name and entry address of each method. Among them, the entry address of the method in the object is given by the child element Href in the method;

2 Provide the number and name of service request messages issued by each method in the teaching process;
(Set a receiver (Receiver) sub element in the Message element, give the identifier of the message receiver object and response method, and implement the message mapping of the 010 object request service. In the Resources element, the setting of the message passing The linking relationship between the OIO objects in the courseware (as shown in Figure 4) is the key feature and implementation key of the content packaging model of this method. The expanded resource element structure is shown in Figure 5.

3 Conclusion

The minimum unit of content aggregation is designed as an open-architecture OIO object with an open link pointer and inter-messages. The aggregation and packaging of shared courseware content, as well as the management, operation, and tracking of 010 objects by the learning management system LMS, It will cause certain difficulties and difficulties; but it also improves the efficiency of the use of a single OIO object in courseware content aggregation, and can reduce the data redundancy in the content package.
