Ultrasonic open channel flowmeters are matched with various national standard weirs or grooves, and are mainly suitable for measuring the flow in rivers with free flow conditions, irrigation channels, factories, urban sewage drains and non-full pipe pipes. When the instrument is working, the sensor is not in contact with the measured fluid, which avoids the contamination and corrosion of the sewage in the channel. It can be used to measure the flow rate of sewage and can have higher reliability than other types of meters.
The intelligent open channel flowmeter is based on a specific shape of the flow channel to ensure that the flow rate is obtained at a certain liquid level height. The sensor is installed above the sewage, processed by the single-chip microcomputer to measure the liquid level height, and then the liquid flow rate can be obtained according to the flowmeter algorithm formula Q = Chan (c, no is the setting parameter). Select the Bassell groove, pitch groove or triangle groove as the specific flow channel, with high measurement accuracy and easy installation.

working principle
The instrument controls the probe to transmit and receive ultrasonic waves. The process as shown in the figure below turns into a liquid level (unit: meter). Then check the water level-flow meter to convert the liquid level into a flow rate (the unit can be: liter / second, or cubic meter / hour).
Water level-flow meter is a set of data stored in the meter. The keys on the instrument can be input into the memory of the instrument. For the water level-flow meter that is not in the instrument, set the type of weir to “Custom†and set the water level-flow data point by point.
