The 3D printer played a key role in his process—helping him create the initial prototype and even producing molds for silicone casting.
What makes the Ozo Bear stand out is its minimalist design. Carrillo chose not to add any colorful stickers, allowing users to personalize it with their own decorations. He also shared the design online for free, encouraging others to print and build their own versions.
To get started, all you need is to visit Carrillo’s website, download the design files, and use a 3D printer with materials like PLA or ABS. The recommended layer thickness is 0.25 mm, and no support structures are needed. Printing all the parts takes around four hours. After printing, a bit of sanding can improve the smoothness of the rotations, ensuring a better user experience.
