Industrial silicon in ferroalloy products has a wide range of applications. It can be used not only as a deoxidizer for special steels but also as an additive for aluminum alloys. According to the different uses of products, different analysis methods can be used, and the analysis of industrial silicon by X-ray fluorescence spectrometry has not been reported. In this paper, based on a large number of experiments in the sample preparation, spectrum collection conditions, spectrum processing methods, analysis techniques and other links in the analysis process, Fe, Al, Ca and other elements in industrial silicon are analyzed by X fluorescent powder tableting. The results show that Thermo Scientific's ARL Quant'XX fluorescence spectrometry has the characteristics of fast, accurate and efficient, and it can fully obtain satisfactory analysis results.
