The extremely high gloss effect of Metalure® aluminum dispersion varnishes is the result of their inclusion of "micromirrors". The brightness and high hiding power achieved with these special varnishes will be unthinkable when using conventional metallic pigments.

Polishing with Metalure® effect
The conventional overprinted primary colors are printed in the wet press wet mode in the first to fourth printing units. Subsequently, the waterborne primer was applied in full width in the first glazing unit. After the ink and primer are dried in two intermediate dryers, a second resin coating unit applies Metalure® effect varnish with a photosensitive resin varnishing plate. Finally, the whole printed sheet is dried with the infrared and hot air drying device installed in the extended paper receiving device.
The use of Metalure® effect varnish is an interesting alternative to metalized substrates or bronzing. However, we recommend that you seek expert advice from your varnish supplier before using this varnish for the first time.
