Juliette Byrne is a celebrated interior designer based in London whose work blends timeless elegance with modern flair. Her award-winning practice, located in the heart of Chelsea, has earned her a reputation for crafting refined and sophisticated spaces that cater to both private clients and property developers. With a deep understanding of design, she specializes in creating interiors that reflect individuality and style, often combining vintage pieces with custom-made furniture to achieve a unique aesthetic.
Juliette's journey into interior design began at The Chelsea School of Art, where she developed a strong foundation in design principles. She later trained under the renowned design firm Conran, further refining her skills and vision. Over the years, her work has received numerous accolades, including winning the UK Property Award’s Interior Design category in 2010 and being named among the Top 100 designers in the UK by House & Garden. Her boutique hotel project, Chalet Floralie in the Alps, was also recognized as one of the top family chalets in the region.
Known for her meticulous attention to detail and ability to transform spaces, Juliette believes that every project is an opportunity to create something truly special. Her approach emphasizes harmony between classic and contemporary elements, often using a muted color palette and custom-designed furnishings to achieve a serene and elegant atmosphere. This philosophy has helped build a loyal client base that continues to return for more.
With over 25 years of experience, Juliette has built a successful design firm that includes four full-time designers. Her company has consistently been ranked among the top 100 decorators in the UK and recently earned the title of Top 20 Interior Designers in Great Britain. Beyond design, she also offers expert property management services, ensuring that clients' properties are maintained efficiently and professionally, whether they're occupied or vacant.
“I work primarily in London but have also taken on projects in Paris, the Alps, and the Caribbean,†Juliette explains. “Wherever our clients have properties, we’re there. Our motto is 'You're only as good as your last job.' Every project, no matter how big or small, is approached with the same level of care and dedication. Working abroad can be challenging, but it's also rewarding when done right.†She has also participated in international events, such as the International Property Awards in Shanghai, promoting British design globally.
“I believe that good design should be accessible, yet luxurious. It should speak to the soul of the space and reflect the personality of those who live within it. I'm always looking for ways to bring beauty and function together, creating environments that feel both timeless and modern.â€
