When using the vacuum pump, if you notice that the vacuum isn’t being maintained, check the seal between the bottle and the system. The feeding process utilizes the system’s vacuum pressure to draw liquid material into the rotating flask via the feeding hose. Make sure the liquid does not exceed half the volume of the flask. The system allows continuous feeding, but take care during operation: 1. Turn off the vacuum pump, 2. Stop heating, 3. After evaporation ends, slowly open the valve to prevent backflow.
