SAMDAIN KANGSANG, 6590 meters above sea level, is located in the middle part of Nyainqentanglha Mountain Range, 91.5 degrees east longitude and 30.9 degrees north latitude, and it is located in Naqu, Tibet Autonomous Region.
The climate Although the mountain was affected by the Namu fault microclimate, due to its location in northern Tibet, the weather is better than Ningqing Mountains in the southern part of Namtso. The annual precipitation is 406 mm, and the time for climbing is relatively sufficient.

From the base camp, along the glaciers, turn up the southeastern ridge and climb along the ridge. Difficulties and features:
1. This mountain has a clear climbing route with a gentle slope. The base camp is at a height of 5,200 meters and a climbing height of 1,500 meters, which is relatively short. This is very favorable for climbing, but it also puts higher requirements on the adaptability of the plateau.
2. The relatively steep slope of snow on the southeast ridge, about 30 degrees, is one of the difficulties in climbing this peak.
3. The peak snow quality is relatively loose, and the snow depth in some areas may not reach the lower legs, which has certain requirements for physical strength. It should be noted that it is not advisable to go uphill immediately after heavy snowfall. It should be observed that the snow is relatively firm before it is climbed to avoid encountering snow.
Sandan Kangsang is close to the Qinghai-Tibet Highway, 100 kilometers away from Nagqu Town, 70 kilometers away from Dangxiong, about 180 kilometers from Lhasa, and a transitional camp in Nabuzha or Balindo, where cars can be directly driven. Nabuzha is 10km away from the Qinghai-Tibet Highway and takes 1-2 hours. The transportation is very convenient, and the transportation of materials and foreign communications are very convenient. From the transitional camp, the yak is assembled and the Yugkyung Qu goes up to the end of the glacier (5,200 m) to build a base camp, and the transition camp reaches the base camp for 3 hours.
