Craft Materials Needed:

• Gypsum powder

• Pipe wrapping paper
• Waxed paper

• Sandwich bags (or any plastic bags for holding the mixture)
• Scissors

Instructions:

Start by mixing 2 to 3 tablespoons of painting pigment with 12 cups of water. Then, add gypsum powder gradually while stirring continuously. The mixture should be smooth and thick enough to hold its shape once poured.

Once the mixture is ready, carefully pour it into a pipe wrapping paper or sandwich bag. Seal the bag tightly using masking tape, then let it dry at room temperature for at least 12 hours. After drying, you can cut the bag open and your homemade colored chalk will be ready to use!
