There are two kinds of requirements for the flexo printing plate in the carton factory. One is to entrust the off-site co-workers to make the finished version; the other is to have the plate-making equipment in the factory to make the plate. But in any case, you must first understand what is a flexographic printing plate.

The flexo printing plate used for preprinting cartons is thin, with a thickness of 1.7 ~ 2.84mm and a hardness of about Xiao A500. Currently, it is not widely used in China and is rarely used by manufacturers. The flexo printing plate used in the carton is thicker, with a thickness of 3.94 to 7.00mm and a hardness of about 50 to 45 0 A. It is currently used by most carton factories, and the thickness is 3.94 mm.

For plates, proper storage and management are very important. The following is a brief introduction to the storage and management of flexographic plates in the case of sub-plate making.

Plate storage rules for in-plant making

Unexposed Plates ※ Placed in the box, wrapped in black plastic film ※ Cannot be placed on uneven contact surface ※ Before peeling the film, the surface sheet can be peeled off. ※ After peeling, excessive bending will make The protective layer is wrinkled. These wrinkles will leave a stain after exposure to the plate.

Exposure to the plate ※ Be careful with a piece of cardboard underneath to prevent bending. ※ Protect the face with the original surface sheet.

Wet plate after plate cleaning ※ Avoid contact with the resin surface, otherwise it will form stains ※ Avoid volatile gas inhalation solvent when processing

After drying, the plate is placed on a flat contact surface and allowed to cool. ※ Do not touch the resin layer. ※ Protect from sunlight or other ultraviolet light.

Rules for Storage of Whole Box Plates Provided by Vendors ※ Temperature Control: When the temperature is 5 °C to 25 °C below 100 °C, the plate transferred to the plate making room must be kept stable for a period of time to avoid thermal shock effect on the exposure machine. ※ Humidity control, avoid excessive humidity (<60% humidity)
※ Placement of packing boxes: all flat, no more than 10 boxes per stack

The plate storage rules provided by the plate maker ※ Pure air: well-ventilated, dust-free, solvent-free volatile gas, away from the ozone source (motor power switch, etc.)
※ Temperature Control: Celsius 5 ~ 35 0C
※ No light irradiation: dark room ※ Plates do not touch each other: sufficient air circulation between plates
